2023 Round Up: A Year of Growth, Thanks to You!
It's been an incredible journey of growth for BBare through the chapters of 2023 - a year that has been nothing short of extraordinary, fuelled by a passion for natural and unique beauty, new product innovation and most importantly, the unwavering support of our incredible community. As we reflect on the past twelve months, this latest blog post delves into the pivotal moments that defined each month for us. From groundbreaking product launches to show-stopping pop-up events, join us on this trip down memory lane as we celebrate the milestones that have propelled us forward, shaping BBare into a thriving hub of natural beauty and empowerment.
We started off strong in January and February, hitting 30,000 customers and 10,000 Instagram followers! We're so lucky to have some of the most loyal customers around, who keep coming back for their favourite Solid Perfume Pod scents and are always excited to try out our new products as they launch. Without your loyalty, we wouldn't be able to keep bringing out new beauty goodies for you to obsess over!
Spring was a wild one, with our new website launching in March, BBare's 3rd birthday in April and an invitation to be a part of TikTok Shop's Manchester Takeover. We were also in the process of developing some of our upcoming products, so it was go-go-go at BBare HQ! We loved meeting some of the biggest UK beauty influencers at the TikTok event and getting them as hooked on our products as you are.
As summer approached, we were gearing up for some of our new products and scents to launch with a bang. But... our TikTok Shop went viral! There were shipping labels flying out the printer and our incredible team worked tirelessly to get your orders out to you. Some of you OGs will remember that we got so busy, we ran out of the hot pink Tara Maynard Solid Perfume Pods and had to switch them into our classic peach pods! We were so grateful for such a strong start to summer and the whole office was buzzing.
In July, we were invited to join the likes of Oh Polly, Cloud Nine, Bo+Tee and Nina Swim at the TP Glow event at Trafford Palazzo. We had the best time getting to meet you all and bring you some live competitions, sample sale discounts and launch our brand new Frekii Pen and Shower & Shave Bars. Both our new products quickly shot to the top of our popular products list and it's easy to see why!
Moving into August, we had another milestone moment, hitting 20,000 followers on Instagram (shout out to our HQ social media queens). Our community has been growing and we might be biased, but we think we've got the best beauty community on the block.
Summer might have been over, but the fun wasn't! We've launched so many new scents this year, both in our Original Solid Perfume Pod collection and with our Influencer Edits, with September seeing the launch of Golden Bee - inspired by Hermetica's Amberbee. Since then, we've gone on to launch Libra (inspired by Yves Saint Laurent's Libre), Red Cherry (inspired by Tom Ford's Lost Cherry), Luna Tears (inspired by Gucci's Tears from the Moon), and of course not forgetting our Influencer Edit with the always fabulous @justnina_official. JustNina's edit includes the Totally Tonka Solid Perfume Pod and TLC Cream, inspired by Jo Malone's Myrhh & Tonka, for the ultimate full body luxury.
After an unbelievable 9 months, it was time to give back. We collaborated with some of the top trending brands on TikTok to bring you our biggest competition yet, with prizes worth over £500! We had thousands of entries and it was so hard to pick just one winner, but don't worry... there are plenty more competitions to come! Plus, we go live almost every day on TikTok and there's always a chance to win on our lives. In November, we launched one of our favourite products yet - Bronze Bae. Available in four dreamy shades with the creamiest formula, Bronze Bae is the ultimate cream bronzer and contour in one! We even designed a brush specifically made for Bronze Bae, so you can get a smooth application and blend - no harsh lines in sight.
Finally, to round the year off on a high, we hit 5,000 followers on TikTok! We've been growing such a tight knit community on TikTok (anyone else hooked on it?), and we're so thankful to have you all tuning into our lives and supporting our brand. Not following us yet? 2023 was our biggest year yet, and we couldn't have done any of it without all of you. We're a small UK-based brand, whipping up our famous Solid Perfume Pods and other beauty essentials by hand in our Manchester HQ. Your support has helped us to grow our team and product range, with more innovative products still to come!
